At Napoli Women, player development means creating real pathways – on the pitch and beyond.
Cameron Brooks’ move to the NWSL is more than just a transfer; it’s the culmination of a shared journey built on trust, daily work and a clear vision for growth. Arriving in Napoli in the summer of 2025, Cameron embraced a new environment, earned valuable minutes in Serie A Women, and continued to develop both technically and professionally, until reaching the league (the NWSL) that had always been her goal.
This journey reflects the core philosophy behind the Napoli Women Football Lab, a project designed to apply the same method and approach that have helped players like Cameron refine their strengths, address areas for improvement and develop the tactical and technical expertise required to reach the highest level of professional football. The Gap Year program is one such example: it is a unique opportunity to immerse players in a high-performance environment where learning and growth are at the forefront. It’s where ambition meets methodology, and the skills needed to compete in top leagues like Serie A and the NWSL are honed.
Cameron’s story is a clear example of what happens when commitment and dedication meet an environment that nurtures athletes and their personal goals. And that’s exactly what we want to achieve at Napoli Women.
We wish her all the best as she embarks on this new chapter in the NWSL.
